Title: Detectors in Diamond Light Source

Abstract: An overview of the major experiments performed at Diamond Light Source is given with particular emphasis on the detector technologies used. Detectors for X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence are discussed in some detail. It is highlighted that detectors are the components that often limit the performance of experiments and still require research and development efforts. Some development projects where the detector group of Diamond is involved are presented.
